Dr. Sean A. Tuten is an experienced acupuncturist and herbalist, holding the highest certifications in his field. He is a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture in Rhode Island, a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine in New Mexico, and a National Board Certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. Sean has maintained a successful private practice in New Mexico for many years and has recently relocated his practice to Providence, Rhode Island. He designs herbal formulations for one of the largest producers of Chinese herbal medicine in the country. Sean has developed treatment protocols for HIV/AIDS patients in Africa, worked with children survivors of sexual and physical abuse, and collaborated with certified midwives to provide comprehensive obstetric services. A dynamic and engaging educator, Dr. Tuten regularly lectures in the U.S. and internationally on the application of natural medicine for depression and anxiety, men’s and women's health, and arthritis.  He is a former faculty member of Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
